Get to know Glenn and Jane: Originally from West Nyack, New York and Rowayton, Connecticut, Glenn and Jane Handley fell in love with Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry on their first visit in 1994. Relocating here from Plano, Texas, they purchased a condo in Harbour Town, exchanging it a year later for a home. "We achieved our goal and moved to the island fulltime. It was our best investment!" said Glenn. 
"We have made some wonderful new friends. Some of them came for a vacation and never left," said Jane. "There is truly a special quality of life here."

Family: Happily married for 30-plus years, the Handleys have two daughters and two grandchildren.
